1st Hexham Boys Brigade is meeting again after a gap of 25 years the company meets on a Friday evening during term time we have a junior section and a company section which meet in the church each Friday during term time from 7pm until 8.45pm. The church has a large hall with rooms off it for the boys to use and we have a varied programme of Drill/ Games/Craft/Skill sessions and finish the evening with an epilogue and tuck shop as we fall out.

We have at present 5 leaders who are all CRB checked and the Captain and Lieutenant have completed the Youth Leader Training Course. The Captain has also completed the Captains Course.

The company is actively recruiting new boys and we offer 2 week taster sessions for boys to try out the company. The Church at West End in Hexham is very supportive and the Chaplian is a full time leader in the company. We look forward to welcoming new members along.
